Yes it is.

This is my first and hopefully not last 3D model I created from scratch for a college assignment. I know that I'd need some kind of academic compulsion to start trying out 3D.

Very rough and basic stuff made up from cylinders and spheres and such, but well it was my first try. The spikes are fun to make but well I can't really do much animation to it.

Animating 3D is actually pretty fun once I tried it. For sure it's something really different from the irritating frame-by-frame and tweening of 2D. It's more....well, challenging and...confusing, since you will keep rotating things around.

Well, I'm eager to know more about 3D, but too bad that was the only 3D class available for first year. >.>

And I wish I can make a proper flash file with loading bar, "PLAY" and stuff, but alas I know nothing about the huge program so I just imported it as a swf straight from after effects.
